Repairing years of poolside weather exposure in one coordinated visit.
This gazebo sits directly beside a swimming pool and had gone without maintenance for an extended period. Constant South Florida sun, rain, and moisture exposure left the entire structure looking heavily aged. Several column areas showed wood rot, while sections of the fascia had visible weather-related deterioration.
The crew evaluated the affected wood and repaired or replaced damaged sections according to their condition. Exterior-grade lumber was used for the renewed areas so the repairs would be appropriate for an exposed outdoor structure. Rotted column sections and deteriorated fascia areas were addressed while sound portions of the original gazebo were retained.
After the structural wood repairs were completed, the entire gazebo—including its exterior faces and framing beneath the roof—was repainted for a uniform finish. A two-person crew completed the repair and repainting work in approximately six hours, restoring the gazebo's appearance while preserving its original design.
